 What is the Religion of Islam?

Articles of Faith

there are six articles or principles of faith in Islam:

  • Belief in One God who has no associates or partners

  • Belief in the Angels

  • Belief in the Prophets of God

  • Belief in all the Books revealed by God

  • Belief in the Day of Resurrection and Judgment

  • A belief that the Power of doing all actions whether good or bad is granted by God, but people are responsible for what they do.

 

Islam is not a new religion it is the religion of Abraham Moses Jesus and Muhammad Islam is the making of peace to the submission to the will of God. The followers of Islam are called Muslims those who submit to the will of God.

 

What do Muslims Believe?

Muslims believe in:

  • Monotheism as described in the Quran: that God is one who is totally independent of the world that he created.

  • prayer five times a day

  • charity for those in need

  • fasting especially in the ninth month of the Islamic calendar called Ramadan

  • the pilgrimage to make the journey to Mecca at least once if you can afford it Muslims believe in:

What is Ishan?

Ishan is to worship God as though you see him although you cannot see him surely, he sees you.

Say, "He is Allah, (who is) One.
